The Memorial Athletic Club (MAC), a staple of the West Houston fitness community for over four decades, has a history defined by its evolution from a niche sports club into a comprehensive, multi-generational wellness center.
In March 2026, after 47 years of independent operation, the club was acquired by Villa Sport, integrating the historic facility into a larger network while maintaining its reputation as a community-centric “urban country club.”
