FAQ’s
HOW ARE DUES PAID ON A SHARED MEMBERSHIP?
The Primary Member is responsible for handling account management – how you split costs among your crew is up to you.
ARE THERE ANY ENROLLMENT FEES?
Yes, enrollment fee is established when opening a new membership account. There is an add-on fee of $25 per person when adding to an existing membership.
How do I add or remove someone from my active membership?
Simply navigate to the Account Changes section of MyVillaSport or the Villa Sport app. Note that there is an add-on fee of $25 per person when adding to an existing membership.
How do I make other changes to my account?
You can make account changes in MyVillaSport or the Villa Sport app, including requesting a change of Primary Adult Member or requesting to put your account on freeze. Please note that the status of the Primary Adult Member applies to everyone on the account, so if you put your account on freeze, everyone else will be on freeze as well. All account changes request one-month notice.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
No! While the Primary Adult member must be 18 or older, the other members can be any age. You will be responsible for submitting a Youth Admission Form for every minor on the account.
Do I have to be the parent or legal guardian of minors on my account?
No! The Primary Adult does not need to be the parent/legal guardian of young submembers on the membership. You will be responsible for submitting a Youth Admission Form for every minor on the account.
I’M INTERESTED IN THE SHARED MEMBERSHIP, BUT I’M ALREADY A MEMBER! CAN I PARTICIPATE?
Yes! At our Cinco Ranch and Cypress locations, all memberships, new and existing, now allow up to 6 total members on the account. If you are the Primary Adult Member, you can simply log in to MyVillaSport via the app or a web browser, and navigate to the Membership Changes section to customize your crew!
What is the cancellation process for a Shared Membership?
For both Primary and Secondary Members, a one-month notice is required to cancel.
If the Primary Member wants to cancel their membership, their responsibilities will need to be transferred to another member on the account, or a new Primary Member can be added to the account.
