Low Impact
For those just starting a workout regimen or recovering from injury, low-impact workouts are an effective approach. Our low-impact classes are structured to be just as fun as our regular classes, but easier on the body and joints and a terrific way to get in a heart-pumping workout while reducing the risk of injury.
A blend of Zumba® and aqua fitness exercises in a safe and challenging water-based workout.
Have fun moving to the beat as fitness and fun come together with low-impact aerobics and upper and lower body strengthening exercises designed to improve balance and coordination as well as increase muscular strength.
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance and chairs are used for seated and/or standing support.
Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
